PulpKitchen is a food-tech start-up offering unique services that blend food, tech and logistics in a sophisticated yet efficient manner to provide farm-to-mouth solutions to consumers.

We are making an entry into the rapidly growing and insanely hot food-tech scene with our first service called Cookass, which is a subscription and on-demand home cooking solution. We are a team of engineers and planners who have worked in start-ups and not-for-profits, and are now looking for a kick-ass tech lead to join the ship.

What's expected from you

• Join as a part of tech team of PulpKitchen and work with the techlead in the back-end, mobile & web development efforts at PulpKitchen.
• You will be a hands on coder with knowledge of the entire tech stack. You should be proficient in your core competencies but should be familiar with Node.js, AngularJS, backbone.js, Rails, PHP, Python, MySQL, Java, REST APIs, Location APIs and Android SDKs and many more.
• Willingness to work in a no-holds barred start-up environment.
• Experience of mobile development (Android/iOS). Having created and published apps on the Play Store/App Store is a huge plus.

The ideal candidate

• Has some experience in a start-up environment
• Has a good eye for minimalist design
• Is willing to get hands dirty and get shit done
• Is a self starter with high ownership levels; someone who does not expect hand holding
• Is comfortable in an ambiguous environment
• Is based in Bangalore/can relocate to Bangalore
